This is a lighter style red wine from the South
 
Bright red fruit to start, while open for a bit, it is showing spiciness, some soft anise & liquorice, black fruit & fresh pepper.

Manual harves, native fermentation. Crushing with the feet.
The whole bunch of Merlot were macerated with the Syrah juice for a few days. The whole was pressed and then aged in vats for 8 months, followed by a small passage in old barrels to aerate and refine it.
The Cabernet Sauvignon was vinified separately in carbonic maceration for 21 days. 
Finally, the whole was blended 10 months after the harvest
